Product fit
Check the actual product in the tray, including dimensional variation. Review contact zones, lid clearance, finger access and the risk of components touching each other.
Appearance
Agree on color, texture, visible fiber variation, trim and molded detail using a physical reference. Record acceptable variation rather than relying only on screen images.
Packing and handling
Try the intended loading and removal method. Review nesting, separation and the behavior of the complete pack with its sleeve, box or carton.
Performance validation
Use tests appropriate to the distribution route and product. Any agreed transport or environmental testing should evaluate the packed product; an insert alone cannot establish shipping performance.
Approval record
Record the approved sample revision, material specification, critical dimensions and acceptance criteria. Resolve any open changes before authorizing production.
